Australian Youth Olympic Festival Team Announcement
Athletics New Zealand has announced their selected team for the Australian Youth Olympic Festival to travel to Sydney in January. 15 males and 15 females have been selected as well as 10 reserves. |

Delayed Flights
Unfortunately there have been some issues with flights out of Auckland tonight (Thursday). This may affect some athletes who are in the Hammer Throw and who will be arriving late in Dunedin for this event on Friday afternoon. If your athletes are in this situation, please make contact with Des Smith and we will do our best to accommodate them so that they are able to compete. |

Young Olympians Tour

California Athletics Tour 2013
An opportunity has arisen for top secondary schools athletes to compete in the California Athletics Tour 2013. The team leaves Auckland on April 2 and returns on April 19. Athletes will be based in Los Angeles and will compete in several meets over three weekends in Southern California. For more information, contact Greg Lautenslager at the National Academy of Distance Running at (03) 923-2321 or via e-mail: coach@nzrunningacademy.co.nz. Coach Lautenslager will be in Dunedin for the New Zealand Secondary Schools Athletics Championships and will be happy to meet with athletes and coaches and give more details about the tour. |
