Implement Weights and Short Hurdle Specs
There has been ongoing debate in the last few years concerning the lack of a unified standard for Throwing Implements and Short Hurdle Specifications between the various Associations in New Zealand for Age Group Athletics. A working party has been established as outlined in the discussion document here, prepared by Anita Sutherland of Athletics New Zealand. The first couple of pages reviews the recent history of the initiative. We will be discussing the details at the 2006 AGM and invite contributions from interested parties. |

Long Service
A proposal has been made that the Association should recognise teachers and others who have maintained a long involvement with our Championships with Long Service Awards. A statement of the Criteria for such an award and a Nomination Form which may be downloaded and printed. Nominations forwarded to the Secretary will be considered at this year’s AGM. |
